Information for U.S. Faculty Members

Are you interested in short-term or long-term study group visits and/or research collaboration in the Ruhr area?

An alliance among the three Ruhr-area universities provides you with an extended network of over 6000 colleagues located within a 30 mile radius. Institutes at all 3 universities cooperate for a unique interdisciplinary approach, also organized under the umbrella of the University of Bochum's new "Graduate Research School" - funded by the Germany's prestigious Excellence Initiative and short-listed for Germany's Ivy league.

The ConRuhr USA office, based in the German Consulate, New York City, has been set up to build bridges between German and American universities. We can help you with:

  • Faculty exchange programs
  • Organization of summer programs or group study visits
  • Finding funding for your teaching, study and research in the Ruhr-area
  • Fast-track admission assistance for your students, 300 degree programs
  • Research networking and strategic alliances
Contact us at our New York City Office: 212-758-3384 or email office@con-ruhr.org
